Slacker

These last few weeks have been extremely busy and I haven't been able to keep up with the blog...I apologize :) In the last 3 weeks we have thrown a Princess Birthday Party, packed up the Enid house, and moved to Arizona! It has been crazy. Trying to unpack a house with 3 little ones running around is completely nuts...I don't know what we were thinking. I have a thousand things to tell everyone and a million pictures to share...so please be patient with me and I will catch you all up :)

We threw Morgan and Princess and Knight theme birthday party 1 week before we left Enid. She invited a bunch of friends from school, the squadron, and the neighborhood. We had quite a turnout...15 kids! She really wanted a Sleeping Beauty cake, so that is exactly what I gave her :)

Grandma and Grandpa Wilmes were there to help us celebrate...and help with the kids! It ended up being a great time and I know that it'll be a day Morgan will always remember.

Tomorrow is Morgan's actual birthday. I can't believe she is going to be 4! We are taking her to the World Wildlife Zoo and Aquarium here in Surprise (pictures and stories to follow later in the week)

Well I really do have lots of stories to share, and I hope one day to have them all recorded...but now I am tired and I have a little one who will be up in about 1 1/2 hours to eat again...so I am off to bed :)

really?!?!

So on Sunday I took Camryn and RJ to the market with me. We decided to try a new store here in Surprise, Sprouts! I love, love, love this store! It is alot like Trader Joes. Anyway, half way through the produce department Camryn looks up at me and tells me she has to pee~we are trying to potty train her without much success~ I was so excited. So picture this...I am pushing RJ in the cart, pulling Camryn along behind me as quickly as possible and trying not to run into any of the "old people" and Camryn just stops. She drops my hand and pulls off her diaper (she was wearing a dress) and says "all done momma". Ugh! I was mortified, did that really just happen?...she just took off her diaper in the middle of the store. I didn't know what to do...Morgan never did things like that when she was potty training! My only hope is that none of the "old people" saw...

Camryn and Morgan's baby Sarah...when life was a little easier :)

The BIG day!

March 20, 2009~

Today is the day...
Ryan and I woke up a little after 6 am this morning. We needed to be at the hospital by 7 to be admitted and briefed on the c-section. The nurses were great and so helpful, but man, I was nervous. Luckily everything went really well...

Ryan Edward Wilmes, Jr was born at 9:15 am and weighed 8lbs, 4.4oz. The nurse measured him at 19 1/4 inches, but Ryan being Ryan didn't believe it so he remeasured RJ himself. Ryan Sr (ha, that's weird) measured RJ at just over 20 inches...anyway, Rj made his big debut screaming and peeing :)

I finally got back to my room around 11 am...just in time for my mom to bring the girls up for a visit. They instantly fell in love with him...

March 19, 2009~

My mom flew to help with the girls while Ryan and I are are the hospital...she convinced me to let her take my picture before the little guy's arrival.

So there I am at 38 1/2 weeks pregnant...less than 24 hours before RJ's birth! And as usual, the girls wanted to be in on the all of the fun :)
